Dear Friends,

When I launched RTBA LA, it was with the simple goal of building a business I could be proud of. Along the way, it turned into much more than a job, it became a community. I’ve had the privilege of meeting countless great people, building friendships, and sharing in a passion that brought us all together.

At the same time, I’ve been running multiple businesses, and over the years it became clear that spreading myself so thin was unsustainable. After a lot of thought, I’ve made the tough decision to close RTBA LA.

This store has been one of the greatest adventures of my life, and I’m incredibly grateful for all of your support, encouragement, and camaraderie over the years. You weren’t just customers, you became part of the journey.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making RTBA LA what it was. It’s been an honor to serve you.

We have an important update as we prepare to close the store.

Our team members have secured employment elsewhere with immediate start dates. As a result, in October we’ll operate on an extremely limited schedule focused solely on helping customers complete final DROS and firearm pick-ups.

Key Dates & Hours

Open Dates: Oct 4, 8, 12, and 18 (limited hours; DROS and pick-ups only)

Absolute Last Day to Start DROS: Oct 8

Last Day for Us to Receive Incoming Orders: Oct 6

Final Day the Store Is Open: Oct 18

If none of the dates above work for you, please reply to this email and we’ll do what we reasonably can to accommodate.

Orders in Transit

If your item is already on the way, there should be no problem.

If your item has not shipped, please confirm with your shipper that we will receive it by Oct 6. Items received after Oct 6 will not be DROS-initiated with us and will need to be transferred to another licensed dealer of your choice (receiving shop transfer fees may apply).

If You Can’t Make It

If you’re unable to complete your pick-up by Oct 18, we can transfer your firearm to any local Burbank shop you request (standard transfer fees may apply at the receiving shop).
If we don’t hear from you and your firearm isn’t picked up by Oct 18, remaining firearms will be dropped off to GUNS LA after that date for transfer.

Abandoned Property Policy

As mentioned on our website and outlined in our Terms & Policies, any item left with us for more than 60 days (as of Sept 29, 2025) is considered abandoned.

If you currently have an item that has been with us over 60 days, please contact us immediately so we can arrange to complete DROS or transfer to another shop.

If no contact or arrangements are made, items deemed abandoned will be sold in accordance with our policy and applicable law.
